Pflueger spinning reel. Size 40. Excellent casting distance and retrieval lengths. Will hold entire roll of braided line. Fought a large walleye 10 plus with no issues. Drag is flawless.

Purchased after having a Shimano Quick Fire reel for 30 years that was just not managing to work with braid. So far very pleased. I purchased not the 20 and the 35 sizes.

Q: Difference in Pflueger fishing reels #78-3811-8 and 178-1690-8 Pflueger reel store numbers differ. #78-3811-8 and 178-1690-8. what is the difference.

A: The difference is the size of the reels. 78 3811 is a size 35 and holds 185 yds/10 lb mono, while 178 1690 is a size 40 and holds 230 yds / 10 lb mono.
