Beautiful faucet. Pop up drain assembly flaw.

I bought 3 of these faucets and had a plumber install them yesterday. They look fantastic. I did not realize they have pop up drains, not the kind with a pull up rod on the back of the actual faucet. The drain assembly is much thicker than the pull up stopper design, so the stoppers are not flush with the sink even when closed. Also, because the drain assembly is thicker, water now pools around the drain. I didn’t realize this until after the plumber left and we were using the faucets. So we need to constantly wipe around the drain after using the faucets now. That’s not a doable long term solution. So we will need to replace the drains or buy new faucets with pull rod drain closures. The plumber is trying to find new pop up drains with a thinner drain assembly. I can not figure out how to upload the photos. I do not suggest buying this product.

Black finish failed and rusted

The black faucet base bubbled and rusted up in about a year's time. At first I thought it was just my water, but the black paint failed and revealed rust beneath it. The odd thing is I installed a chrome unit in my other bathroom, that faucet is perfect. This black faucet The rust is starting to discolor my quartz counter top. I am very unhappy that this faucet only lasted about 14 months.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Oh our third Rancho faucet

I want to love this faucet as it does the job it's supposed to and aesthetically, it's very nice, when it's new. We are now on our third rancho faucet in a year due to the finish coming off the first two! The first faucet I used a cleaning tool on, which caused the finish to come off, but when we received the second one I made sure to only use a vinegar or dish soap and water solution, with a microfiber cloth. Nothing abrasive and it still happened! As you'll see in the pictures, there was also a lot of build up around the base of the faucet but I don't know how else to thoroughly clean it without risking damage to the faucet. I appreciate Pfister honoring their warranty, but we shouldn't need a replacement every six months!

The black chips and then rusts

Bought the black coated ones for our new home. The black coating chipped off within the first year and is now rusted. Very disappointed.

A: Rancho model #LF-048-RCHB requires standard 1/2" water supply lines with 1/2" fittings to the faucet. The other end of the water supply lines would depend on your home's connection size. The water supply lines can be purchased at any major home improvement or hardware store.
