I used this product about 8 years ago to fix a star-style chip on the windshield and I haven't had any issues since. The kit was easy to use but it was missing the razor blade so removing it was messy. The chip wasn't completely resolved but it shrank from a diameter about the size of a $1 coin to a $0.25 coin. Although the chip is still visible, it feels smooth at least.
Apparently some chips can be covered by insurance so check for professional repairs before buying a kit like this. Also, avoid driving near construction vehicles in the Toronto area, they always damage my vehicle from loose debris.

If you follow the instructions, the kit works very well and is comparable to a windshield shop repair. It’s winter in Calgary, so my UV light helped to cure the resin, quickly.

Overpriced- buy elsewhere

Sad to see this is priced at $20, certain popular online retailers have it for $15, nearly 25% less. I would understand 10-15% price difference but 25% is ridiculous. The product is good but the value buying it here is horrible.

Q: Can it do multiple repairs? Are the materials re-usable if you have more than one chip to repair at the same time?

A: I actually fixed two in one day. You only have 0.7 mL so don't be wasteful and load too much in at once. I found that repeating the syringe steps twice gave me a good fill and if it's not sunny the stuff won't set.

A: Probably not. The epoxy relies upon the suction created by the syringe under the applicator pad to spread throughout the crack. If the crack spreads beyond the edge of the pad, it will likely seep out of the crack or draw air into the syringe. This kit is designed for small stone chips that can be covered by the applicator.

Q: Can this product be used outside on a sunny but freezing winter day? Will the resin set when the temp is -20?

A: I think it will only work for a chip because the piece that sticks to the window isn’t that big and you can only use it once

Q: I fixed cracked glass but it’s visible too much on top of it and unable the remove excess of it. How do I remove dried excessive glue from it? Thanks

A: Hello Angela, thank you for your question. The excess adhesive can be removed by using the edge of the supplied Safety Razor to gently scrape away rough spots.
