Best Engine Oil

The best engine oil you can buy. It’s derivation and formulation is better than other engine oils as tested and verified by independent third-party testers. I’d only buy Pennzoil for my vehicle. Quality oil.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great oil for my Mercedes SUV!

As of today (20 November 2025), I drive a 2013 Mercedes ML350 diesel that currently has 370 000km. I've been using this oil since I bought it new and I change the oil every 10 000km. It doesn't burn a drop of oil and runs flawlessly. The oil is somewhat expensive, so I only buy it when it goes on sale. They also sometimes have mail in rebates from the company (I never had an issue receiving them). I highly recommend this oil!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Hello, is it recommended for VW tiguan 2013 4WD

  • A: Honestly, you have to verify with your manual first. But for my Mini Cooper, this euro oil is tested and very enduring during winter season and specially summer times. It took awhile for the soothe color to show up which is a normal sign of good quality oil. Everytime i pull the oil stick, i find the oil color to be gold compared to my previous high end synthetic brand oils which are more expensive. You won't be disappointed using this Euro spec. But check what viscosity your manual say. Good.luck

Q: I have a Jaguar F-pace with a 2.0L diesel engine, the manual calls for STJLR.03.5007 0W-30 oil type, is PP Euro LX 0W30 a suitable substitute?

2 Answers
  • A: Pennzoil claims this is suitable for modern diesel engines but I would not conclusively say it it suitable for your car. I would not say this as the STJLR.03.5007 is not listed under features or specifications for this oil. This oil does meet the viscosity spec of 0W-30 for your car but that may not be enough. I think castrol edge professional has that spec listed. When in doubt, check with your local jaguar dealer.

  • A: Hi Fitz, Kioti CK2610 HST 2022 has a diesel engine, hence Pennzoil Platinum 5W-40 is NOT suitable for this application. Kindly check the oil specification requirements from the owner's manual and select the suitable Rotella HDDEO products. Sincerely, Jeff S.

Q: Is this suitable in a non diesel engine? The write up is a little confusing. We own a 2011 bmw 328xi. 3.0l non turbo.

2 Answers
  • A: Hi Annie, Your 2011 BMW 328xi 3.0L non-turbo calls for an oil that is approved to meet BMW LL01 and viscosity of SAE 5W-30. Hence the suitable oil should be Pennzoil Platinum Euro SAE 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil. Pennzoil "Euro L" is for some diesel euro cars. Thanks for your interest in our product. Sincerely, Jeff S.

Q: Does it meet bmw longlife1 a3b4 standard?

2 Answers
  • A: Hi Keith/Canadian Tire, please change the 2nd photo of this specific ad as it's for a Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40 and NOT for a Euro 5w-30. I almost bought 1 box (3 x 5L jugs) of this just a few weeks ago for my BMW x5 E70 simply because of the 2nd picture which has all the original BMW 5w30 oil certifications. Fortunately, I noticed that when we opened the box for the cashier to scan the barcode, it has the BMW - Longlife 04 (BLL-04) and NOT the BMW - Longlife 01 (BMW-LL01). I did buy the Euro 5W-40 as it turns out that my BMW owner's manual includes the 5W-40 as an option for engine oil. Please have the 2nd picture changed to the right photo to avoid the possibility of any engine failure due to the wrong description on the said picture. Thanks. Sonny
