Everything I was hoping for. Capacity, weight, durability and maneuverability. My only hurdle was finding out what I needed to hitch it to my UTV. Instructions should show options. It wasn’t complicated but finding the answer was. This hitch configuration does not fold back into the sleigh. Other styles do but hitch is wider than the sleigh. For me, I would have liked to be able to fold it back but prefer not to have the extra width of that style hitch. Overall very pleased.

Pelican Snow Trek 75 Sled with Runners

I've had my sled for a few weeks now & use it to haul the garbage & recycling containers up our road to the highway weekly & to haul firewood from the back of our lot up to the house almost daily. I purchased the optional hitch as well, but so far am only using the two ring clips to attach a tow rope for hauling myself. Neither tow rope attachment rings nor a tow rope are included with the sled. So far it works really well & slides easily; my reason for only 4 stars is because neither it nor the optional hitch are inexpensive.

Q: Do you carry replacement runners? I purchased my sled last year and it is holding up great, but the runners will reach the end of their useful life shortly. Pelican shows a kit on their website, but no mention on where to get it, or how much.

Q: Snow Trek 75 Cover Does Canadian Tire carry the cover for this unit? I purchased the sleigh and the hitch but was told they don't carry cover. Doesn't seem to make sense to do that.

Q: With the runners factory installed is the sled watertight?

A: They are not using any silicone when installing the runners and therefore the sleds won’t be water tight. The consumer could take out the screws and re-install them using marine silicone. That could work to get the sled water tight.
