I have had this faucet for 10 years. Great price and works great. The sprayer recently got stuck and now doesn't work so I have reached out to the warranty department to see if they will replace the head. I am not sure why the other bad reviews, this has been awesome. The design is great, looks great in my semi-modern kitchen.`

C. Tire refused return on 7 day old product.

Installed this on a weekend, & it immediately had a leak internally in the pull down hose. Uninstalled it the following weekend, & repacked it in all the original packaging, including the plastic.
This is where it got weird. CT said they do not take returns on opened products. They stated I needed to try and get the manufacturer to return it. I stated it was faulty, & leaked right out of the box, & was. 7 days old. They said it didn't matter, if I opened the box, it was unreturnable.
I asked if I bought a toy for my child there, & it didn't work, could I return it. I was told no, that policy stood for every single item in their store.
I asked them to show me this policy, & they couldn't, but stood their ground, & stated this is how it is now.
Thankfully it was only a $140 lesson learned & not more.
This will me my last purchase from a Canadian tire store.

Q: Has anyone noticed an odd smell and taste of the water after installation of this faucet?? I am a little concerned, it's now been a week and the taste and smell are still there whether it is cold or hot water running....I cannot fully place the smell but some sort of a chlorine/sulphur type..... Anyone??

A: Nope, maybe it's your water supply ? We have city water, copper piping so no idea what the problem might otherwise be.

Q: Is the pull out end coated plastic, or actual metal? From memory it was solid metal, it would be helpful to find out before I drive 40 minutes to find out the hard way.

Q: Water flow has completely stopped. (removed sprayer head, but still no flow, either hot or cold). Removed cartridge. Looks fine. Reinstalled cartridge. Worked for several uses, then completely stopped again. Any ideas?

A: Removing the backflow valve (integrated into the 'quick-connect' supply line seems to have solved the problem. Can't understand how/why this little backflow valve failed. No visible debris.
