The food in the tray part and the lower opening of the feeder gets very wet and soggy in damp or rainy weather. Not looking forward to trying to keep it open through out the winter.

A: Thank you for your question. Please note the top has a stopper which slides up to allow the roof to slide up and to one side so you can fill the feeder.
