Plant support without paying an arm and a leg

These aren't heavy duty frames, but they do the job. A couple of the metal bars were bent funny from shipping but they were easy enough to bend back into the correction shape. I have one on a bucket of cucumbers and another one on a bucket green peas in my indoor garden - they do what they're supposed to do. I appreciate that they fold flat for storage later.

Q: can this be unhinged to create a row of the four panels? I'm looking for something to connect panels - for peas, climbing beans, cucumbers. how does it collapse?

A: Yes- this can be easily unhinged to lay flat on the ground- however I am uncertain how stable this configuration would be as a the "box" shape provides the lateral support. The soil density & depth to which this is anchored may help -but wind may be an issue if this is free-standing

A: It's pretty light weight. I'm able to use mine for the second year, but some of the joints have come apart and I wouldn't buy it again. It seems to be aluminum, but I don't know my materials
