Been making cheesecakes nonstop with it and it is holding up very well. Just make sure that u insert the bottom the right way up otherwise ur grease will fall out everywhere.

Q: I just purchased the Paderno 9" Professional Springform pan. I used it once and now the spring closure will not close the outer ring to a tight fit with 3/16 inch gap. Is there anything I can do?

  • A: Given this is a baking related question, opposed to product, we are not able to advise sufficiently. However, cheesecakes are recommend to chill overnight in the fridge before opening the spring form, this would insure that the cake solidifies and has a nice consistency prior to removing the pan.

Q: My 9" springpan leaks water when I pour it in to test seal.. My concern is that the cakes liquid will seep out during baking and make a mess plus ruin the cake. Am I looking at this incorrectly or should I doing something different? Please respond

  • A: It is a special shape pan design with ring and base, minor leakage might be common and unavoidable if the cake mixture is too diluted or if the clip on the ring was not closed properly (base is not at the right position perfectly and may gap around the edge). Some users might line one piece of greaseproof paper under the springform pan in case the cake mixture is too diluted.
