Q: How do I clean the crumbs out of the juice give on cutting board?
4 years agoA: I'm assuming you're referring to the "groove" around the side of board. I take my finger, wrap a cloth around it (lightly), then simply "drag" my finger through the groove. Whether its crumbs or juices from slicing meat, this method has worked over and over again. I'll do this near the sink and tilt the board upright a bit (angled), so crumbs/juices flow into the sink. Then I wipe up any excess. Very easy. For more difficult juice issues, I'll take a soapy sponge and do the same thing though this might require another re-oiling of the board. Again, not a big deal. We love our board. Very sturdy and we use both sides depending on the occasion. Good luck!

Q: Can this board be used for a pastry board?
7 years agoA: Marble (ideal for pastry) is going to make a mess of your knives, but I'm afraid that the groves that develop in a cutting board will end up caked with old, dried pastry dough... Hope this helps.
