Food sticks to these, I have all Paderno but these are awful. So disappointed as I wanted it all to match and the rest of my Paderno stuff is great. Real shame these were such garbage

Q: In a dishwasher without heating element (like BOSCH), the heat comes from the water and is limited to 155 F (70C). In this case, apart from the discoloration of the exposed copper ring around the bottom, could there be other damage?

A: There is staining of the bottom that actually can be removed with abrasive detergents as Cif.

Q: If this pot set is put in the dishwasher will it damage the copper so it doesn't cook as well or just discolor it?

A: Hello Russ, Thank you for your inquiry. The heat of the dishwasher is not recommended for this set due to the copper bottom. It may cause damage beyond discolouration.

Q: How are these pots induction compatible? In another answer you say that the stainless is 18 10 and that won't work. Neither will copper or aluminum. Is there another layer not listed? Is the stainless in the bottom different?

A: You can tell if any pot is induction compatible with just a magnet, any magnet. If it sticks to the exterior bottom, the pot is induction compatible. It's that simple. Yes, this set is induction compatible.

Q: What happens to the cookware if it goes into an oven higher than 400 degrees?

Q: Can you make the double boiler insert available to go with the set?? It would be nice to have the steamer and double boiler inserts .

A: We do not currently make a double boiler to fit this product. There has historically been very little demand for double boilers in the market and as such there is no plan to develop such an item at this time.

A: This product is NOT dishwasher-safe. The reason being that it has exposed copper which will oxidize/change colour when exposed to harsh dishwasher detergents. We will update our website.
