Many Defective Units

I bought one 5 years ago. Loved it enough to buy another one for a different home. That one was defective - it had the loose-no-tension pivoting arm problem described in some of the reviews. I tried tightening the screw that holds the arm to the post. The screw was already completely tight, so no help there.
I returned it and bought a replacement. Same problem. I then bought six more to see if any of them were any good. Four of the six had the defect, meaning I finally found one (actually two) that was built correctly, meaning, out of eight units, only two were not defective. Thus, 75% of the units were defective. (Moen Voss Pivoting Arm Paper Holder).
I'd say Moen has a QUALITY CONTROL problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Finish has become pitted

I am very disappointed in the chrome finish of the paper holder that is now pitted. I believe I’ll have to buy another of the same paper holder if I want everything to match which seems ridiculous considering the cost of the items. I have the faucet and shower pieces which seem to be ok. I have never had a chrome finish do such a thing!

This is my by-far best and favorite toilet paper holder that I have ever had. So easy to slip in a new roll that finally for the first time in 40 years of marriage my husband will put the toilet paper on the holder.
