Nice But..

This is a nice looking feeder however the hummingbirds didn’t think so at first. That is until I used a bit of red Krylon paint applied to feeding tubes with a q-tip. They are now very interested in it and feed from regularly.

I liked the design of this item and I purchased this item early last summer. After a few months use, it was rusted and leaked. I will not purchase it again.

Disappointing

I love the style, but I'm disappointed that both the pseudo-copper and aqua-glass surfaces began to degrade so quickly. The hummers don't seem to mind, so at least there's that. It's a lovely looking feeder, as long as it's not out in the weather apparently, but that hardly suits feeding hummers.

You are correct the feeder is not 100% copper. The cost of a 100% copper feeder would be about 10 times the retail.
As I understand it is a Copper plate over metal base material.
