Q: How is this coffee decaffeinated? Chemical process or the swiss water decaffeinating process? Thank-you

A: FRANK Decaf is decaffeinated by this process: Natural solvent (ethyl acetate) process : This involves soaking the beans in water baths to make them expand, then adding a solvent and heating it to extract the caffeine. The beans are then steamed to remove the solvent and dried to restore their original moisture levels.
