Glass cook top users beware

This pan overall seems to be decently made, and cooks fine for us. However the manufacturer has laser etched into the bottom of the pan the logo and some other details, all of which after laser engraving leaves a ridge around text / symbols. This ridge is like a metal burr, and sticks out past the surface of the pan, and has scratched our stoves cooking surface significantly.
Only an issue for users with induction stoves and glass cooktop stoves. Disappointing for my wife who bought me this as a gift and now deals with the unsightly stove top being scuffed up.
The pan itself cooks nicely, but damages the stove.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Do items such as eggs and meat stick to the bottom of the pan?

A: You need to prepare the pan. Heat it up with nothing in it, drop a few drops of water on it when think it’s hot enough it is ready when the beads water dance around. Then add your cooking oil quickly coat, button and add your food. Let food cook for a bit before trying to flip. Many videos out there showing proper technique.

A: well, the bigger question is why add salt to the water there is no point just don't do it. it's a placebo effect your mom probably did but was not needed. the whole will it boil fast is pointless keeping the quality of a pan over a possible few sec faster boil time is pointless.

A: HI there, The middle of this 3-ply pan consists of a highly conductive layer of aluminum which serves to bind the 2 layers of stainless steel together and to distribute heat evenly across the cooking service and up the sidewalls of the pan. Hope this helps! Thanks!
