Colour chips off almost immediately.

Good cup if not for the cheap chipping paint on the outside. I bought 3 of these and all of them did the same thing. Garbage!

Surprising how long the cup keeps drinks cold. Add a bit of ice to a cold drink and there is still ice at the bottom of the cup 8 hours later

Q: Can you use this without the straw and drink directly from the cup or is the top of the cup threaded to accomodate the lid?

A: Hi KayD, I have several of these and I have to use the straw. The removable top simply has a hole in it where the straw fits. The cup is threaded to accommodate the lid and I wouldn’t advise anyone to drink without the straw. I hope this helps.
