Just needed a ice fishing rod for the upcoming season. Pretty good quality and it was clearing out so the price was spot on.

The reel mounting point isn't good

When I bought this rod the reel mounting point was covered in tape and the price tag so I couldn't see how it works. After buying it and removing the tape I saw that it was a push on kind rather than screwing tight, which doesn't give me confidence that my reel is properly secured on. I wish that was apparent before purchasing, so I'm writing this to let others know.
