I am very happy with this tape. I took a chance and used it on an uneven surface even though it recommends on even surfaces only, and still performed beautifully. I will admit there wasn't a really heavy load. Glad I bought it and will continue to use it for other projects.

Q: Can it be used to repair an uneven tear on a leather couch? The tear is in an awkward position between the cushions of the couch.

Q: What is best way to remove tape?. Hopefully there is a easy trick to use.

A: Gorilla Mounting Tape is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage or leave a residue if the object is removed. If the object must be removed, we suggest prying from one edge. Slowly stretch the tape at an angle parallel with the surface it is attached to. Solvents or adhesive remover products may be helpful in removing leftover adhesive. Make sure to follow solvent manufacturer's directions and always test an inconspicuous area to ensure that surface or finish is not damaged.
