Weldbond steel tough universal adhesive multi-purpose glue dries clear and creates a strong bond for almost any material. It glue's wood, tile, glass, stained glass and more. The glue dries clear allowing you to apply stain or paint after application. For porous surfaces like concrete, brick and drywall Weldbond can be used as a sealer and primer coat creating a matte finish. When used in concrete Weldbond increases compression and sheer strength creating a hardened surface that withstands heavy wear.

Q: can I use this on a garage door window to keep in place with the window frame?

A: WeldBond does adhere very well with wood and glass, so yes it will keep both in place. WeldBond is not waterproof, but water resistant (once cured occasional exposure to moisture should be ok)

Q: I am trying to glue strong magnets to sheet metal, will this work and keep the magnet stationary when it comes in contact with another magnet?

Q: If the the product can be submersed to remove, is it really weatherproof/able to withstand elements? I am comparing 2 other prodicts for projects. Concrete, stone, wood, metal, etc.

A: water resistant but not waterproof. It can be used outdoor on vertical surfaces where there will be no standing water or if shaded. Once cured it will withstand the elements. Where there will be standing water - not recommend unless sealed with a water repellent sealer.

Q: Is this removable down the road if we had to or is it permanent leaving damage if removed?

A: Weldbond is a water base adhesive. If the item can be submerged and left in water for a period of time, Weldbond will return to its liquid form. If this is not possible, glue may leave mark/damage.

Q: Can I use this on plexiglass? Would it dry clear?

A: Weldbond glue will dry clear but will not adhere to plexiglass or other hard plastics. Gorilla Glue Clear Glue bonds virtually anything and dries clear – product 067-1029.
