A: It is suppose to do that. The irregular pattern is a SOS signal. The other pattern is for the police I believe.

Q: 900 or 1200 lumens When I was in the store looking at this Flashlight the package says is 1200 lumens, I wanted to know more about the product so I decided to look it up on online at home. Canadian Tire, Police security and other websites all say 900 lumens. This is confusing, what is the truth ?
