The build was easy enough for one female to put together it’s well labeled and instructions are very clear. It does take 3 + hours but it’s worth it as it is a beautiful piece. Very happy with the sturdy design and the quality of materials.

Looks Great but the LOUD beep on fireplace is bad

Visually, this TV stand is everything we wanted in terms of size and looks. The fireplace is very pretty and warms the room well. HOWEVER, anytime you hit a button on the remote or the fireplace itself, it is the loudest beep! Louder than any appliance in my house. if you are raising the temperature, you have to bear with dozens of beeps that eco throughout my house. my wife was in the bedroom upstairs and could hear anytime i adjusted the fan setting or temp, or even the brightness of the simulated flame. Ive been through the manual several times and cant figure how to mute the beep. its definitely the Worst part of this unit.

Q: Is it meant to turn itself on and off automatically? Just purchased this. And it seems to turn itself on (can hear it beep) when the room is below our set temperature. Not sure if this intentional or an issue.

A: Yes when it reaches the set temperature it shuts off I always keep up high so it doesn't click on and off. .. .

A: I don’t think so. I’ve had mine up for 5 months unsecured and it’s very sturdy. it is low too so i think you should be ok. Unless you have toddlers (just to be on the safe side) i don’t think it needs to be secured.
