I bought a towel ring and they sent me one nether had the metal plate annd the screws were too big

The mounting plate is pre-installed in the mounting post; you must use the included allen/hex wrench to release it from the mounting post. Moen product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation, and warranty assistance. They can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time
