Great Product, Lacks Sealer
a month ago
Nothing wrong with the actual assembly, but why would the company that produces it provide a very small amount of plumbers putty or silicone required to install it. I had to spend another 8 dollars for a large container of putty that I will likely never use again. Good for Canadian Tire, but not so good for me.

It took way to much tightening to get a waterproof seal around the drain flange. Even with silicone plumbing sealant. Also the drain pull up plug seal did not seal unless pulled really hard.

Think twice before purchasing!
Not a fan of a three piece drain. There were constant leaks, even after adding lots of Teflon tape. Took apart three times and reinstalled. As the leaks kept coming. Not recommended for DIY'ers. Will settle for a one piece next time.

Good product at a reasonable price

Good product at a reasonable price. lThe only problem was that when I got it mostly installed, one part was missing. On closer examination, the bag had been opened and the part (presumably) stolen. Sad, but check carefully to avoid unnecessary work and a second trip to the store.

- A: This only covers the normal sink hole. The basin is where your overflow would be and if it has the overflow hole then this would still work.2 years agoHelpful?

Q: Shouldn't the title reference the assembled length of 8 inches, instead of the pre-assembled length of 12 inches? It is a bit misleading when trying to plan a job.
