Tough Sledgehammer

When I was working in oil and gas, it was a struggle for me to keep a sledgehammer because I would swing so much and so hard that the head would come off. I even did that to a 10lb sledgehammer with a mattock-type handle. My problems stopped when I bought an IsoCore 10lb demolition hammer. It was the only sledgehammer that could endure my continued use.

I ain't 18 anymore

I got this hammer to break 4" and 6" slab.
The handle is sturdy.
The round end does make a difference in establishing a fracture in the concrete.
At 47 years old, my old body is sore adterwards, but I try not to be a sissy about it.
The only thing I would change is to make the handle not grippy.
I like to slide my hand as though I'm splitting wood.
But that is merely a preference.
Great hammer.

I use this sledge to break beads on semi truck tires the weight and pointed edge are great for that good quality hammer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a nice sledge hammer. The edge with the point is such a nice added feature and makes is really nice for breaking things down. The weight is evenly distributed and the hammer is well made.
