Strong smell and it works against rabbits.

We have rabbits coming to rent at the same spot on our front lawn and created a dip of dead grass. This product worked really well as stopping them so I could regrow the grass. It has a strong smell, though. Make sure to shake the bottle a bit before applying. We also had a prairie dog starting to dig beside the electrical box. Spraying this inside the hole made him give up that spot. Works for a long time as long as it doesn't rain.

Bobbex saved our roses!

This product has been a life-saver for our roses. Who knew that deer love to eat unopened rose buds, and will come back time and time again once they've discovered them? I spray Bobbex on every week or so when there is new growth, and after rainfalls. Remember to be aware of any slight breeze when you spray, as this stuff is foul smelling and you don't want it on yourself or your clothes. But it works perfectly to repel the deer, and we've enjoyed our roses all summer long.

stinks but works

stinks but works, the deer actually sniffed my hosta that it was feeding on before I sprayed it and left. it was rather unpleasant to figure out how it works, the signs on the tip are invisible (that's why I took off one star), by the time I found out what to do I got some stuff on my hand that I could not get rid of for hours. It means it is a good product, wish I had another way to find out because the smell is nauseating.

Q: The product descripton says ""simply washes away with rain, so there is no residue build up on plants over time." but then under features it says "Solution doesn't wash off, remains on plants for up to 2 months". Which is it? Does it wash off or not?

A: We use this as we have rabbits that want to eat our plants and this stuff works perfectly! Spray it on when plants are dry and it will last for quite a while. DO NOT spray when windy as this stuff stinks and you will wear it. Does not leave a residue and didn't have to respray after a rain.

A: Bobbex has not been approved for deterring squirrels. PMRA requires efficacy testing before we can claim that it works for squirrels.

Q: Rabbits are eating milkweed that monarch butterflies land on and lay eggs on the leaves. Will bobex stop butterfly's from landing on milkweed?

A: That is a great question, that I do not have a definitive answer for. Bobbex is all natural and safe for all animals bees and insects as well as butterflies. Bobbex repels by odor and taste. If the butterflies are not eating the milkweed, only laying eggs they still may land on the milkweed. I recommend to test spray 1 or 2 plants to see if the the butterflies do lay their eggs on the plants.

A: Bobbex deer and rabbit Canada has not be tested for protection for voles. The only testing PMRA approved is for deer and rabbits.

A: Bobbex will not harm pets. There are no poisons or pesticides in the product, although the Canadian government classifies it as a pesticide.
