OUTDOORS: Pavement Ants (Previous label also included outdoor control of aphids, whiteflies, and ticks we no longer recommend using HD MAX RTU for these insects in Canada).

Q: Does this work against German Cockroaches? Does the spray attract them and kill them or do they only kill them on contact?

A: Thank you for your interest in our products. Yes, this product is listed to kill cockroaches. The main ingredient, Pyrethroid, kills by contact. It affects the nervous system, causing paralysis.

Q: I hate a kitten we just moved into a new home. Is it safe to use? And will he be bother if I used the product?

A: Always be sure to read the label , not only will it tell you if it is safe around pets and or children it will also tell what to do if swallowed. I have used this in and around My house we have a large dog and wonderful cat, this product has never made them sick. I suggest you let it dry before allowing pets near it.

A: Ortho Home Defense MAX Insect Control will control cockroaches. Adjust spray nozzle to desired spray pattern. Hold sprayer 31 cm (12 in) from the insect or surface. Spray until slightly wet.

A: Home Defense can prevent bugs for up to 12 months, but it can help to reapply after 6 months to refresh the barrier.
