Q: Can the Globe S-Type Vintage Dimmable Bulb, 60W be used with a 3-way floor lamp? If so using the twist turn switch, how will it behave?

- A: A 3-way floor lamp requires a bulb with 2 filaments, setting 1= lower wattage filament, setting 2 = higher wattage filament. Setting 3 = both filaments. Setting 4 = no filaments (off). So this bulb would only turn on in 2 of the 4 settings, and at 60W in both cases.5 years agoHelpful?
