I have probably 8 vacuums lol... Anyway... This vacuum is so great at lifting long cat hair off any surface... I was blown away how well it works... But... It should have a self winding cord and also a wide vacuum attachment for reaching under sofas/beds etc... Best vacuum ive ever used but could easily be BETTER. Bissell if you read this I would like to purchase a wide floor attachment for reaching under beds, sofas... Thank you.!

One of the best vacuum cleaners at a great price. It has great pickup and goes over every surface & carpet piles with absolutely no problem. Love that it has a separate section for easier cleaning on stairs etc. Great pickup for pet hair too. Overall very pleased with its performance.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. So far it works well. I like the lift-off feature since it makes it lighter to carry up and down stairs. The light really highlights the hair and dust on the floor. I have 2 dogs, and it sucks up the fur on the floors and carpets very well.

Shocking amount of fur

Bought this to upgrade from a Shark stick vac. I thought it was working fine... turns out this vacuum found a full canister of fur from a single large area rug (I was just vacuuming like I normally would). The rug looked 'clean' to me but there was a lot that was being missed. I like to know that when I vacuum it's actually working. I'm just a regular fella with 3 kids and a big dog... not a professional cleaner by any stretch but I felt like a champ that day.

Q: This might be a silly question but.. would anyone recommend this vacuum even without pets? My wife has long hair and we need a good vacuum to get hair out of carpet. I noticed this one advertises a lot of pet hair cleaning accessories so I wasn't sure.

A: I would recommend this vacuum for anyone regardless of having/not having a dog. I had another very expensive vacuum that didn't fully pick up the hair/fur off the rug. There was always a film of hair left on the rug. The Bissell picked up everything. And it is easier to empty the container.

A: Thanks for your question, Dixie! If your beater bar (brush roll) isn’t working on the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Allergen Lift-Off Pet Pro, even though it’s clean and the belt is intact, here are a few things to check: Brush Roll Switch: Make sure the brush roll button is turned on. Vacuum Position: The brush roll won’t spin if the vacuum is in the upright position. Recline it to activate the brush. Floor Type Setting: If you're on a soft carpet, try adjusting the floor type dial to a higher carpet setting. Motor Reset: The brush motor may have stalled. Try turning the vacuum off, unplugging it, then plugging it back in and turning it on again. Debris or Obstructions: Even if it looks clean, the brush roll might have hidden debris or hair wrapped around it. Remove the bottom cover and inspect the brush roll to ensure it spins freely. If none of these steps help, it might be time to contact BISSELL support for further assistance.

Q: Is the HEPA filter disposable? Is there room for a prefilter? I want to clean a moldy space and then dispose/replace the filter.

A: Filter is disposable , however I would not recommend using this machine to clean up mold . It does not have room for a pre filter and is not manufactured for mold cleanup .

Q: What is the model number? I can’t find this vacuum on the bissell site I don’t think. Older model maybe? Need something great with long pet hair and a lot of it. Tired of clogs and cutting hair from the roller. Recommend? Thanks.
