I was unable to use the product and returned it. I could not unlock/untwist the two parts to access the filter. I would have kept the product if it was t for this problem.

The most useless vacuum I’ve ever purchased. Would not even pick up sugar off of the countertop. Don’t waste your money. Especially with the way Canadian Tire makes it virtually impossible to process returns. Unfortunately forced to use the non-Canadian competition.

Q: Is it good for cleaning up cat fur on rugs and furniture?

A: Lots of suction however not great at pulling the fine cat hair out of fabric such as rugs/furniture as likes more solid type of debris that is sitting on surfaces. Does work great for sucking up loose cat litter and small stones that can be stuck to cats paws and tracked about.

A: The vacuum is not power full enough to vacuum sofa. This would best work for vacuuming small drawers. This vacuum is very light and with you situation not difficult to handle but do feel that it may not work for the reason you are buying it. Hope this helps
