Hoover® WindTunnel Air™ Bagless Canister Vacuum

Was expecting more from the Hoover name. Bought 5 years ago and in that time: pins that hold the wheels into floor brush would fall out; floor brush cracked where it attaches to wand; power nozzle comes apart, exposing wires, leaving you with a nozzle that stops and starts as you vacuum; wand comes apart exposing the power cord for the power nozzle; replaced a belt. Of course all this happens after the warranty expires. Tired of wondering whether it was going to work or not, bought a different brand today.

This vacuum looked like a good deal, and is a nice, compact unit. Very easy to maneuver around the house. However, it clogs easily and frequently, which causes loss of suction, overheating, a burning rubber smell, and shut down by tripping the thermal fuse inside the unit. It can't seem to handle being used in a warm climate, as it overheats so easily. When it shuts down you have to clean every port, hose, filter and empty the dirt cup in the 30 or so minutes you have before you can turn it back on again. It requires 10 minutes of filter cleaning after every single use, and still clogs. I wish it would work better, as it is a nice, compact unit, but it's virtually useless as it clogs every time we use it. We are a normal household of 4 people and 1 cat, so there is nothing unusual about our situation. We've never had a vacuum clog at all before, let alone every time we use it. Hoover says clogs aren't covered by warranty. I would like to suggest that poor design should be covered, but they don't agree. Don't buy this unit, and be careful about Hoover products. If they can market and sell a product that isn't able to do what it's supposed to do, and refuse to stand behind their product, I don't know that they are a trustworthy company.

Très déçue de mon achat. L'appareil est encombrant et peu ergonomique. Je me décourage avant d'avoir terminé le travail. Les petits accessoires sont peu utiles. J'espère pouvoir le retourner.

I've had this for almost three years and am disappointed. Living in a condo with hard wood floors and two large rugs clearly should not wear out a vacuum. It would overheat quite often and today just died. Not worth the money, I would suggest putting the money towards something that will last longer than a few years.

Il est lourd et peu maniable, il perd rapidement l'aspiration malgré la technologie utilisée et le pire de tout, c'est qu'il tombe en panne au bout de 8-9 mois.... Vu le prix et la marque qu'il y a derrière, on pourrait croire à un bon rapport qualité prix mais en fait c'est juste une grosse déception ... J'avais Dyson avant, c'est cher, on paye un peu la marque mais on paye surtout le bon matériel robuste
