Honey, I shrunk the 6-slices, and the font.

After about 20 years our last B&D toaster oven fan was getting loud after having had it apart and oiled on two separate occasions, and the buttons were getting hard to press. It did, however fit a 12-3/8" pizza pan which the new one does not. The pan goes in but the door won't close. Also, as is the case with most modern products, old eyes need strong reading glasses to read the controls.

Poor Black and Decker customer service

Bought this product in Jun 2025 and the timer dial stopped working 6 months later. Whenever the timer dial gets stuck, the oven stays on. Unfortunately, Canadian Tire does not allow the unit to be returned directly to its store and the return had to be processed through Black and Decker. I contacted B&D and was instructed to send them a picture of the unit with its cord cut before they will send me a replacement. I did as instructed but they offered to send me a cheaper unit as the model I bought was not available. After some discussion, I reluctantly agreed to accept the one they had offered as I needed a toaster oven badly. That was back in Feb 2026 and until now I have yet to received a replacement. I had already called and spoken to various customer service reps and no one could give me any assurance when the unit will be shipped to me other than that I will get an email when it is sent. This is an extremely frustrating experience and will definitely be the last time I'll ever make a B&D purchase!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes. Temperature and function dials are separate and temperature affects all functions.

Q: Does this oven have any parts inside that are "non stick" or coated? Basic iCarly is the entire unit uncoated stainless steel?

A: The crumb tray seems to be non stick smooth when wiping off crumbs or melted cheese. I only hand wash it as needed. I have placed my previous trays in the dishwasher but the chemicals are too harsh and makes it scuffed and rusty. I do put the wired rack inside the dishwasher sometimes and that seems to work fine. The rest (walls and glass) is hand wiped anyway

Q: How do you actually use the "Stay on" feature? The knob will not turn to this position either clockwise or counterclockwise.
