Q: I want to cover my outdoor staircase with fitted rubber mats to avoid ice build-up and to help with clearing from snow and ice in the winter. Regular rubber steps are much too small. Can this be cut down and used for that purpose?

Q: Is it waterproof, meaning does water or any other liquid stay on surface or does it seep through to the floor it's on?
3 years agoA: Hi Damako, Thanks for your inquiry! Yes the mat itself is waterproof and liquid will not go through it however liquid on the surface could spill over the edge and get under the mat that way as the mat is completely flat. Hope this helps.
