Great Product

I bought this product to spruce up my .22's I did a single shot FN first and was extremely satisfied. Then I stripped a Cooey 60 bolt action to bare metal and finished as per the instructions. It looks Amazing! These guns look almost new. The secret is to thoroughly clean all parts.

Purchased this gun bluing kit to refinish an old shotgun. There was enough in the kit to do two projects. Easy to use and offers an acceptable degree of bluing.

This is the item I paid for online and when I went to pick it up at my ct store they had subbed it with another item similar to it . I returned it back to the store for a refund without hassle.

Good for cosmetic touch-ups

I used this product when refinishing an older Winchester model 1200 that required quite a bit of TLC. Does not provide a large degree of rust resistance but would be good for small touchups.

Q: Surfaces of use 1) Can this product be used on untreated Steel as well as stainless steel? 2) approximately how much surface area does one kit do?

A: I reblued 2 .22's with the kit with enough left over to do minor touch-ups if needed. I did 3 re-applications on each rifle with great results. The cleaner the metal, the better the result.
