Since they don't have really good boots for boys i bought these for my son. His feet stayed dry and comfortable on 9 day camp/hike/canoe trip. He is really hard on footwear and these still looked good after his trip.

Q: What does the minimum temp rating mean! If it is zero then you shouldn’t wear the hiking boots below zero? Can’t wear them in winter or snow??

A: I wore the boots with thick socks in the winter. The temperature outside was cold at least -10 and my feet actually kept warm and dry!
