Well designed.

I've been using these in the sugarbush for the last week in 2-3 feet deep snow and they are holding up well. Well designed snowshoes. Broke through the ice into the water a few times, and they don't seem to build up with ice. Also, you get good traction up steep hills. Easy to put on and take off.

The ratchet mechanism on the front straps is good, the heel strap mech is a bit of a pain. Overall, decent value on sale.

Good product .The snow shoes are lite and well made .The ratchet strap are a little finicky in cold whether. The walking pole are on the flimsy side. Nice case to keep it all together.

Excellent value, better fixations than most.

Comes with everything you need, the poles are excellent to have. The fixation system is better than any other less expensive snowshoes: Solid double "ratchet" that can't get loose, unlike straps.
They also have 36" which you'd want as a man doing off trail hikes with full backpacks.
The only thing they are missing is the heel elevator, but it is not mandatory to enjoy snowshoeing.

Q: Are these just for children? What size would fit a woman who is 135 lbs.

A: Hi Susan, Outbound snowshoes kit has different sizes with different weight capacity, for example size 21: 120 lbs , size 25: 160 lbs the snowshoes' capacity is yourself and your gear's weight. so normally we recommend size 25.

A: Outbound kits, black don't have a heel lift. Brand Woods have heel lift. You may check it for reference.

A: Hi Dawn, the snowshoes load capacity should include the user's weight and the gears. Normally size 930's load capacity is 210lb size 1036's load capacity is 265lb.
