The Outbound Snap N' Tap Grommet Kit is a versatile tool for replacing missing grommets or repairing ripped or torn tarps. Made of a durable nylon construction with rubber grommet washers, these repair grommets are ideal for use on plastic and canvas groundsheets, tents, awnings, boat covers, and more. The snap n' tap grommets are easy to install by simply snapping with your fingers and hammering into the surface to create a hole. One package includes ten 12 mm grommets.

Q: I got your grommets to use in making a canvas boat storage cover from an old awning. They have a thin rubber washer; which side of the 2-piece plastic grommet does the rubber washer go-against … the male side or the female side? Does it matter? Thx.
