Absolute junk

We bought this product because we had extra company for Christmas, and were short of beds. We unpacked it and right out of the box it would not hold air! What a complete piece of garbage! We gave our guests our bed and my wife and I slept on the floor for Christmas never been so upset by a poor product! To top it off Canadian Tire would not give me my money back on December 26 and would only do a exchange because the seal was broken and somehow a mattress that was never used is a hygiene issue! So now I have another junk mattress that I’m not sure what to do with.

Perfect Guest Bed

The double-high design and super-fast built-in pump make this mattress a winner. It’s comfortable, stays firm all night, and is easy to set up and pack away. Excellent value from Canadian Tire.

Size is off

The box says it’s a queen but it’s more the size of a double. Otherwise works well

Q: We purchased this mattress before Christmas for company that was going to visit. It has not been used outside. Only on carpet in our basement 3 times. It will no longer stay inflated. No holes. Please help. Not cheap!!!

  • A: Have you tried returning it to the store? We bought the same mattress 2 years ago. We have used it several times camping outdoors but this year (3rd) it started losing air. We did not think we would have much luck finding the pinhole somewhere or wondered if it was just the seams so we trashed it. For the sale price of 89 bucks we may just invest in another but if I were in your shoes I think I would attempt to return it. I have returned others (cheaper) that started leaking after a short while and did get my money back, good luck!

  • A: Blow it up real tight and get a spray bottle with water to find the leak. (usually a pinhole or 2). Most times a dab of crazy glue will fix the problem

Q: Wondering the total wattage drawn by the pump. I want to know if I can safely run it long enough to inflate the mattress using a small 12v inverter.

1 Answer
  • A: The manual indicates the pump operates on 110–120V, ~60 Hz, with a current draw of 0.95 A. This means it uses approximately 114 watts. To safely inflate the mattress with a 12V inverter, we recommend using one rated for at least 150 watts to handle the power draw and startup surge

Q: I also purchased for company over Christmas. It has been great. However, now I noticed that the middle portion is a few inches higher (basically dividing the bed as there is now a hump in the middle that is several inches higher than the rest of the bed).

1 Answer
  • A: Thanks for your feedback — we’re glad to hear the mattress has worked well for you overall! Regarding the raised area in the middle, this can sometimes happen if the internal air chambers become uneven due to prolonged storage or overinflation. Here’s what we suggest: Fully deflate the mattress. Reinflate it slowly, and try to distribute the air evenly. Avoid overinflating — the mattress should feel firm but not overly tight.
