Good for general daily use ....

Outbound Men's Snowbank Winter Boots (#187-3836-0) .... a good casual use, half height, winter boot. The Outlook brand has a review base telling you these are aimed at city to school travel, or clearing snow for an hour type of use. I wore them for the first time snow blowing for 30 minutes at -9 Celsius. They were warm, comfortable, and dry under this light use. Due to reading other “Outbound” brand reviews i applied a water protection spray before use, hoping to gain somewhat of a waterproofing ability.....but i expect only a water “resistant” boot is the effect. As a plus, this boot has standard metal eyelets which are known to be a longer lasting design and create less stress on the boot material. If your looking for a rugged use, weekly, winter hiking boot, search elsewhere (at 3-5 times the price), but as an around town daily use boot its fine, especially if found on sale.

Je pensais que avec son prix que j'allais me sentir plus chauffé aux pieds mais ces bottes ne sont pas si isolées que ça les présentent. J'ai toujours froid aux pieds et mes simples bottes de pluie achetées chez Decathlon chauffent mieux contre le froid de -7 C°. Avec ses bottes, on peut pas rester pendant longtemps dans un abris-bus pendant le froid. Hélas et malheureusement, je ne sais même plus l'échanger pour d'autres bottes. Vraiment, je regrette cet achat.

I have wide feet so I went up a size. I love the look. And I find them comfortable walking. I am not sure why all the bad reviews. They are nice boots! I got them on sale so it was a bonus.
