Black sleeping bad not available - Sub par service

I tried to get this sleeping bag in-store, but they didn't have it in black so I ordered it online. When I went to pick it up from the store, they didn't give me the colour I ordered (black) so I returned it. I call all the stores in my area and none of them hasld this product in black so I ended up not buying it at all. The service I received at the store was sub par and not very helpfull. I had to call the other stores myself while still in the first store I visited.

Great sleeping bag, we used it for 4 days and 3 nights car camping. The nights were 6 degrees Celsius on the first, -2 on the second and 2 on the third. We were two in a non insulated car, so no reflextics. We were too hot on all 3 nights having to unzip the sleeping bag. We used a semi thick futon bedding in the back of the SUV as a base, blanket on top and the sleeping bags. We also used a wool blanket to separate the front to the back of the suv. These are highly recommended! Especially for the price.

Q: can this sleeping bag be washed and dried in normal appliances?

A: Steps to washing a sleeping bag: 1. Never use a washing machine with a centre agitator 2. Never use bleach or fabric softener 3. Wash on the gentle cycle in warm (or cold) water with an appropriate soap. Again, use as little as possible to avoid over-suding. 4. Try adding some other damp articles that need washing, such as a towel or a couple of T-shirts, to help balance the spin of the machine. 5. To make sure all the soap residue is gone, rinse at least twice. Or run it a second time through a complete (soap-free) wash-and-rinse cycle. To Dry your sleeping bag: 1. Set the dryer on low heat. Machine heat varies, so check often. If it’s too hot, the fabric or even the synthetic fill can melt. 2. When a down bag is nearly dry, add two or three clean tennis balls (or a lightweight pair of clean sneakers) to the dryer. This will help break up any clumps of down as it spins and will help restore the loft. 3. Make sure your bag is thoroughly dry before placing it in its storage bag. You can leave it out all night on a bed or hang it up by toe loops, just to be sure.
