I love this bag! I have never tried a down beg before and very happy this this one. The only problem I have had was with the stuff sack that the bag goes into. The plastic clip on it has broke. So be careful if you buy one.

This is an excellent value. It compresses down to about the size of a bowling ball and thankfully weighs much less. It is true to its comfort rating of -3 when used with an insulated sleeping mat. (also because quadratherm plus does not loose as much loft as down when put under weight, a synthetic bottom makes perfect sense balancing price with warmth and weight/bulk.) 2.7 lbs (1 lb of goose down on top and in the hood with the balance being quadratherm plus in the back).
*the kelty cosmic is a comparable value in Down sleeping

Q: Can you zip two of them together to sleep two people? Zipping two sleeping bags together is nice when sleeping with a partner. Is this possible to do with this sleeping bag?

A: These two bags could zip together as long as the customer buys them with one of them having a right zipper placement and the other a left zipper placement. This is usually marked on the compression stuff sack the bag comes in. There wil be a L or R marked on them. One other most important note. Mummy style bags have hoods and these get in the way of zipping them together. Our suggestion would be for you to purchase a rectangular bag without a hood but the right and left zippers still apply.

A: Here is the vendors response: The Down Lite (76-0796) is in cylindrical stuff sack. Volume is calculated as follows: V=πr2h Calculation - 19cm Diameter X 38cm Height = 10.76 Litres To conserve space while travelling, the sleeping bag may be compressed further by cinching down the stuff sack. When the Sleeping Bag is not in use, it should be hung or stored loosely to preserve the life of the bag.
