Happy with Otter Box Defender

My 3 year old Otter box fell apart, so I had to buy a defender, a little to bulky for my liking, but then my 3 year old phone is almost scratch free and works great because it had an Otter box before. Compared to other products, I would only buy a higher quality protective cover, to protect an invaluable asset. When this phones dies, the next one will have guess what, another otter box covering it!

Not the Otterbox case quality you should expect...

The charger port seal broke off in a day. It is NOT waterproof, and if liquid from dropping near snow or a coffee/desk accident happens, you will need to pull the whole thing apart and dry immediately, not forgetting your charging port is likely already exposed. If it drops, you will crack the inner plastic liner and the whole case will be on a downhill spiral. If you are careful when the case starts cracking, you may get an additional month, but best to be ordering a new one. With the prices on an ugly black case, I'm not buying here, I am a die hard Otterbox, and put everything in them, but this case is my last buy. I think r=this should be a one time purchase, not a once a month, and quality has clearly left the building.
