Each package provides enough casings to make approximately 20 to 25 pounds (9 to 11 kg) of hearty sausage links. With a 32 to 35 mm diameter, these casings are perfect for making traditional thick pork sausages that friends and family will love. Just stuff with ground meat flavoured with your favourite seasoning blend and enjoy the ultimate DIY sausages, ready to impress at any barbecue.

Casings are shelf stable
Simply rinse off salt and soak casings in warm water for 30-45 minutes
Run warm water through casings before use
Store unused casings in the resealable package and refrigerate or freeze

Q: Are these real hog intestine casings? Or synthetic?

A: The answer provided by CT is incorrect... no surprise. As per the OEM (wildwestseasonings.com) 1750588 is an actual real hog casing preserved in salt. So yes it is an actual intestine which is the best casing to use... ALWAYS! They need to be rinsed in warm water before use. The collagen casings that WW Seasonings make are in a completely different package and do nt need to be rinsed in warm water.
