Q: Are these real hog intestine casings? Or synthetic?
6 years agoA: The answer provided by CT is incorrect... no surprise. As per the OEM (wildwestseasonings.com) 1750588 is an actual real hog casing preserved in salt. So yes it is an actual intestine which is the best casing to use... ALWAYS! They need to be rinsed in warm water before use. The collagen casings that WW Seasonings make are in a completely different package and do nt need to be rinsed in warm water.
