Horrible Quality

Not even worth a 1 star rating. This is the 2nd one I’ve had & like the first one the display stopped working. Without that the unit is useless. Absolute waste of money.

Tefal - T-fal ActiFry Vista White supposed to replace our older version of the same product. I was unpleasantly surprised when I opened the box - the quality is worse than a cheap knock off. Simply look elsewhere for an air fryer and do not waste your money.
The unit does not even stay stable on its legs !!!!! Quality of every element seems downgraded - the good old times when T-Fal was a symbol of quality is gone!. Simply stay away.

We had 2 (1 after the other) over the years & they eventually died. Now I am alone at 72 & I never cook anything anymore - relying on take out & whatever I can nuke. Decided that it was time for a change, but didn't want to be stuck eating the same thing 3 days in a row. Ordered this & am so glad I did. Works like a charm (like its predecessors did.) I can enjoy a variety of great meals & clean-up is a breeze - into the dishwasher & done!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Better than ANY air fryer ever made! Air fryers need constant turning. This stirs everything for you. Never had a side burnt and other side raw.

We have had several Actifrys over the years ... we use them every day. Basically we are very pleased with the Vista design. Like the pan and paddle better than in older models. Works well for us, for what we do. ... BUT ... when we first turned it on the room was filled with new machine smell. Actually the smell imbedded in what we cooked that day. ... Had to run the machine for about 4 hours to get rid of the smell. ... Now it is fine. Something in the heating unit? I assume.

Q: this model intrigues me, I would like to know if it can make enough food for a fam of 4 (3 of them are boys haha) and the paddle scares me a bit since I want to make donuts. won't it destroy them as it stirs?

A: Thank you for your email, Bread crump coatings can be used in the Actifry if you remove the mixing blade, however the appliance is not suitable for wet battered food.
