It's nothing special....

It's ok, really not that great though! I went through the entire process as written on the can, and yes the car looked very clean afterwards. However the paint is for sure not as smooth as compared to using an actual car polish, and I also noticed 6 weeks later the water doesn't really bead anymore on the paint. Still looks shiny, but meh..... next time I will polish and wax the car 1x a year like I always have. It may take 2x as long, but the car looks 2x as good after a proper polish/ wax job, and the results last longer. Another strike against Nu Finish is that it has a nasty petroleum product smell.

Nu Finish- better then Wax

Nu Finish is a product I have used for years. I recently purchased a 2024 Hyundai Pallisade and shared the love, about a week after the purchase. The Nu Finish did its usual Excellent Job. I purchased a new container of the paste, it goes on easy and buffs off easily.

Q: I just got my car spray painted and need to put on a clear coat over the paint . Can i go with this one instead of getting it spray painted with clear coat ? It does act like a clear coat, as a barrier between the paint & outside, right?

1 Answer
  • A: Vendor suggests using clear coat, a non-pigmented paint, on top of pigmented coatings. Car polish is a very thin layer, not meant to protect a surface like a paint coating. Paint is a much thicker product that is baked-on and will last much longer than car polish.

Q: Apply info What is the difference between nu finish liquid polish and paste polish?do we need wax after applying this polish?

1 Answer
  • A: Both the Nu Finish Liquid Polish and Paste Polish will give the same results – the only difference is that the liquid polish will be slightly easier to apply. Liquid versus paste is purely a matter of preference. We always recommend waxing your vehicle after polishing to keep the paintwork protected and looking great.
