Good for Christmas lights or other 2 prong plugs

Bought it to replace old ones like it. Unfortunately had to return it as the outlets do not have ground plugs. It does not show that on the box so I did not discover that fact until I opened it at home.

A: Note - the new models no longer have a button on the receptacle through which you can re-pair or re-assign the receptacle to a channel on the remote.

Q: conflicting multiple remotes How far apart do the plugs need to be apart to prevent interference...A1 with A2 Must there be direct line to sensor, can it go through walls?

A: It works from another floor on the opposite side of the house ok. In fact, the receptacle is inside a kitchen cabinet (used for controlling the undercabinet lights) and it works fine. No problems with interference so far using 3 receptacles on 1 remote (with a separate channel for each receptacle).

A: No. These particular outlets are for indoor-only. You may want to check out the other 'outdoor' models available at Canadian Tire. They have a few options.

Q: All of a sudden my three lights (one on each of the three receivers) started to turn on, or off, without me touching my controller. I think one of my neighbours in our condo building must have bought the same controller and it interferes with my receivers

A: Yes unfortunately, I bought 2 separate sets to use in two different rooms in my place. But I can't use one of them now, because when I turn on/off a light in one room, it does the same in another room in my house! So the receivers are very sensitive and will pick up signal from a neighboring controller.

Q: Want to use 1 Noma-3 receivers in living room and another Noma-3 receivers in bedroom. I don't want 1 set to interfere with the other. Rooms are about 45 feet apart. I don't want to press no 1 in living room and activate no 1 in bedroom. Possible ?

A: I have two of the three plugs hooked up in different location and as long as you remember what is plugged into which box it will only turn on what is plugged into the box.

Q: You advertise that they are “grounded” receptacles. But they are not. They are only for 2 prong plugs. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have the receivers adapt to a standard 3 prong plug.

Q: Does the receiver draw power even if the remote control switched the lamp off? If so, how much power does it draw?
