NOMA SurfaceElite ProSweep Cordless Stick Vacuum, PWR POD Compatible

The Noma Canadian Tire Stick Prosweep could be a major contender in the vacuum market, but it needs design changes. I wanted it to be as good as the price tag suggests. I also wanted my money going to a Canadian Company Pros, 2-4ah batteries, instead of one lesser ah battery, more power than competitor top of the line cordless brushless motor, eco mode, good size dirt cannister. decent balance, bendable wand, (which every stick should have for the cost of doing it at the manufacturer level) Cons, Most of them I knew when I bought, but bought it despite the shortcomings. Not designed to stand on it's own, the wand bend hinge should and could be 3" higher to reach further for under beds etc, no clip for attaching the brush and crevice combo. (there is plenty of room for one), the crevice tool is to wide for crevices, and could damage upholstery if forced in, A wall attachment that needs to be screwed in, and wont handle holding the vacuum, upholstery brush and the second power head, (many people rent and/or do not want to put holes in their wall) The wall bracket should be a floor stand, and even as a wall bracket it's not well designed to hold everything required. Many complained about clogging with dog hair, because the cannister intake is to small. Now for the part that is unfortunately making me return this unit for a refund. Their are 2 power heads instead of combining into one for floors and carpet. I have a few area rugs, that are medium pile height but not real dense. It's bad enough going back and forth attaching 2 power heads, but the carpet powerhead is near impossible to move on eco mode, and the rollers completely stop on high power which is carpet mode, making it non movable (yes with a fully charged battery). I'm not a big fan of all the sensors on some units, the best sensor is the operator. For the same or less money of 2 power heads, this unit could be designed with one 2 roller power head, 3 operator determined, height adjustments, 1 for floors, 1 for short to medium pile carpets 1 for medium to longer pile carpets. It could also have a lower profile with smaller diameter rollers, that use less torque to turn, in order to get under lower profile furniture. I wish it would have worked. I should design these for CT. They would start selling fast.

I'm very impressed with this vacuum. I use it on the non-power mode and it picks up a shocking amount of dust and dirt. I have a combination of rugs and floors, so I like that there are attachments for each. I also find the headlight feature helpful. Overall, the quality seems very good, very happy I purchased it.

Was happy to find this on a good sale. I can buzz through 1700 sq ft and the couch on one charge - comes with charger and 2 battery pods, accessories, and wall unit to hang everything including charger - set it up near an outlet. When I lived alone in an apartment this would have been perfect on its own for cleaning, but now with kids and pets in a larger house this unit does not replace a conventional vacuum. However, it is perfect for quick daily upkeep and easily gets rid of all the husky fur fluffs and bits of stuff that gets tracked around on wood floors. Handheld unit makes dusting stairs and bookshelves quick and easy, and great for the car. The dusting brush can slide back on the attachment which is an annoyance, but I can live with it because of how infrequently I use it. If I wanted to use it more, I'm pretty sure I could wrap some tape around the inside to slightly widen the attachment area so it would hold better. Significantly quieter than a regular vac, younger kids don't mind using it. I LOVE being able to grab this for quick cleaning and not having to lug around a heavy vac with a cord every day. Overall great purchase, hope it lasts a long time.

I love everything about this vacuum... except the doghair gets caught up in the top of the cannister by the intake part rather than going down to the bottom. This results in less suction as the dust, dirt, and hair clog up around the intake part. I need to remove the cannister several times to pull the dog hair out of the short channel that is supposed to take the dirt into the bottom chamber. If you do not have a heavy shedder, like our St Bernard, this will probably work super well for you. It has really good suction. As it has two batteries, you also have plenty of time to vacuum everything. It is easy to use, remove the heads, as needed, and is fairly light so you can quickly zip through the house. .

I'm owner of a cleaning business and have bought this vacuum iv had it for 3 weeks now and absolutely love it!! Yes you have to carry a couple batteries for a large house but the efficient suction is very pleasant!!!
