Love this product of Solar Lights

I have these lights wrapped around trees in my yard at the lake. They are bright, come on at dusk and last all night long. Of course it dose depend on recharging with sunlight. However, even on a cloudy day the charging system works and we get several hours of beautiful light in the yard. I have never had to replace the batteries and the lights have been up on our trees for 3 years. Make sure the light "charger box" faces the most direct sunlight throughout the day and you won't be disappointed. I especially love the solar lights in the winter with the white snow illuminating the yard even more from the powerful little lights. Recommend this product 100%.

Q: Can these be used in the winter?

A: Love these solar string lights. They are very bright and shine all night long. We have them wrapped around tree trunks at the lake and they work all year long. I especially like to see them through the winter with the white snow reflecting their lights. I have never had to replace a battery on the units. Totally recommend this product of solar outdoor lights.

Q: I bought these lights on Sunday, they worked for one night, then stopped working. I clicked the "on/off" button several times, checked the batteries, and tried other AA batteries just in case. Could they be defective?

Q: I've just installed mine and they only work for about an hour before going off. When I put cover the panel with my hand they come back on but then go off again when I take my hand away. Any ideas?

A: Make sure you follow the start up directions carefully. I set my lights to off and charged in full sun for a couple of days to fully charge the batteries. The location of the charging panel must be full sun and unobstructed by leaves, roofing etc. to get the maximum charging time. The light sensor will trigger the off /on for the lights. Double check the setting you have the unit set to as it does have several including fade out, flashing, alternating right to on steady. I set mine to on full to establish best location for panel for max. charging. Good luck.

Q: Bought these a month ago they worked great for 2 weeks and all of a sudden won't stay turned on. We've tried cleaning the panel and making sure it's getting a full charge. Could it be an issue with the battery? Buttons seem to be in working order.

A: I'm sorry to hear that. My light string works great, we have them all over our garden. But I had a similar issue and it was one of the batteries. We replace the batteries and it is working great. Good Luck

A: Mine are installed on a birch tree and the solar panel is south facing and zip tied in place. It’s been operational for months on slow mode. Absolutely beautiful

Q: what is the highest capacity NIMH battery I can use? I find the 1.2 v 400 mah batteries only provide about 3 hours light.

A: 1,Please press the ON/OFF switch, make sure the switch is in on position, 2,Make sure the solar panel is away from other light sources 3,During the day,make sure the solar panel converts the sunlight into electricity and charges the battery. 4,If still doesn't work, you need to open the battery case and check whether the battery is placed and connected properly, also check whether you have any wires coming off.
