Is this a one season tree?

I bought this tree last Dec and used for one Christmas. Says self shaping and there are lots of gaps which we tried to cover but still shabby at best. I put it back in the original box and put it in a closet and put it back up yesterday and top strand of lights wont work. I had a couple of replacement lights that came with the tree and changed and checked each light individually. This did not fix the problem and can't find a website to address my issue. They all look so good on the box but not what advertised.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: have one cluster of lights not working? checked all connections and are tight. Tree lights worked last year and now don't work. Is there a problem with the plugs on these trees?

A: We do not have a widespread problem. There might be one light that is burnt out and then the whole string would be out. If you can determine which light isn’t working and replace it….the string should light back up.
