No product support and poor quality Noma lights

Bought this tree on sale, good height nice and full. Not a lot of lights on it and the real problem is that half of the lights don't work. I went through the strings with the spares and can't find the problem. When one is out, you loose the whole string. I thought I would just buy a couple more strings of warm white noma lights and add to it instead of returning the whole tree. The problem, I can't get the same shade of warm white lights. I have tried 4 different ones on the spectrum as shown on the noma boxes however none match the tree and stick out like a sore thumb. I thought I would contact Noma Canada, or Trileaf Distributors in Canada and see if they could send me the correct lights, however they do not want to be found. Give you some idea of the warranty's value, supposed to be 5 years but only if you can track them down and reach someone. Hate it when products are not supported after the fact.

Le sapin est parfait... mais pour sa deuxième saison, déjà 6 lumières sont brûlées, et Canadian Tires ne garde pas de lumières de rechange... Y'a pas de courants de lumières identiques à vendre non plus... si on veut un bel arbre tout blanc tout pareil, il faut tout changer les lumières...Ok, ils donnent 12 lumières dans la boîte du sapin, mais, après...fini!!! Pis moi, j'ai égaré les 12 fichues lumières, alors, j'ai pas d'autres solutions que d'aller racheter un courant de lumières. Je suis déçu!!!

Easy to set up

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. This tree looks great and was easy to set up. The lights are all the same colour -soft white. We added a few strands of multicolour lights, and it looks great. The tree looks full when it's all fluffed up. Great price on sale. I give it 4 stars, because nothing is like a real tree.

We needed a new tree this year to replace a previous one that lasted years. I struggled with whether to get pre-lit or not because as we all know stringing lights tends to be the most frustrating part. The pros of this tree is that it is a great height, it has a full appearance and unlike others I found my lights were all the same shade of white which is pretty. The cons of this tree is that I found they really didn't incorporate enough lights and you will probably end up adding more and that the wires from the lights already on the tree tangle into the branches which I found just as irritating as if I would have stung my own lights in the first place. I also feel that there is a "cheap" quality overall and we will not get as many years with it as the previous one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: If this is an LED lit tree, then the bulbs are usually not replaceable and should not have the same issue you describe with the old style lights... .Right?

Q: How do I secure the top part to the middle? The top part has a square peg and the recieving end of the Center part is a much larger steel pipe. If I put one in the other the top of the tree just wobbles. Is there a piece missing ?
