Q: Does it turn off on its own?

A: This battery-operated control box comes with a pre-set timer function. 1. Press the button once to turn the lights on and start the timer. The lights will stay lit for 6 hours, turn off for 18 hours, then repeat until the battery power has been exhausted. 2. Press the button twice to turn the lights on. They will stay on until you turned off or battery power has been exhausted. 3. Press the button a third time to turn the lights off.

Q: Website vs. packaging have conflicting info. Website states "CSA approved for outdoors" the box clearly only indicates "indoor". For safety sake please, Which one is it?

A: I'm pretty sure this garland is just for indoor use only - it won't stand up to snow or wet weather.

Q: How do you turn the lights on and off ? There is a timer how do you use that it has not turn knob instead button.

A: All you have to do is press the button that is on the battery pack! You turn it on manually and it will turn off automatically. Then eventually it turns on and off by it self. When the batteries are low this does not happen you still need to turn it on manually. I have this product out side and the batteries do not last long in the cold. Best to use this product indoors

Q: 2nd year using this garland and Not all lights are working. One set only one lights working on other set only half of garland lights up. Bulbs need replacing???

A: I have the same problem. Some of the colored lights have fallen off and I have half of a string that doesn't light up any more. I expected them to last a lot longer. This is my 2nd year as well.

A: We use Duracell Copper top, garland lit 5 hrs/day for 25 days. We change each year.

A: Certainly there are some wires available to use if needed. We wrap ours on a railing using the wire and no issues
